Show Ladies of Elks name new club officers Joye Crawford was elected president of the Ladies of Elks of Cedar City at an election elec-tion meeting held last week. Other officers named, according ac-cording to Anne Edwards, nomination and election chairman, chair-man, were as follows: First Vice President, Jean Lamoreaux; Second Vice President, Pres-ident, Katlierine Adams; Treasurer, Trea-surer, Fern Urie; Historian, Helen Jensen; Reporter, Ola Crawford; Chaplain, Alice Hol-yoak. Hol-yoak. Elected to the executive committee for the coming year were Lucilo Amador, Marie Nelson, and Maydean Petty. The newly elected president named as her secretary, Tarn-ra Tarn-ra Higbee and Immediate past president, Sharon Peck, will serve the organization as director. di-rector. The new officers will be Installed In-stalled in ceremonies to be conducted April 17, preceding a dinner party to honor the outgoing officers. The 52 ladies present enjoyed en-joyed a luncheon on tables decorated in St. Patrick Day colors and to mood music furnished by Pam Orton. Mrs. Katherine Adams reported re-ported to the group on the Spring Board Meeting, Door prizes were won by Mrs, Tarn ra Higbee, Mrs. Lu-cile Lu-cile Amador, Mrs. Donna Reid, and Mrs, Joy Crawford. |
