Show Co-op store, city tax, seventies - Historical records found in local bank Quorum of Seventies und was daWi Jan. 7, 18. The information infor-mation included birth dates, parentage, baptisms, ordinations, ordina-tions, and places or residence. The quorum was reorganized reorgani-zed by Apostle T. M. Lyman on June 21, 1896 and was comprised com-prised of 42 members and the following officers: J. G. Kimball, Kim-ball, president, Samuel H. Webster, secretary, Reese J. Williams, Joseph II. Armstrong, Arm-strong, Richard A. Thorley, Henry W. Lunt, William P. Hunter, Mayhew H. Dalley, and Herbert W. Webster. The records of account were turned over to the historical materials archives at College of Southern Utah by the bank. The quorum records were given giv-en to the Cedar West Stake Quorum of Seventies. Robert Hansen, president of the quorum, quor-um, indicated that these records rec-ords would also be given to the college for preservation. A number of records and accounts ac-counts of historical value have been found ru-.mtly in the vault of the Cedar City Branch of the First Security Bank, according to Don Wheelwright, Wheel-wright, bank cashier. During a cleaning project some weeks ago Mr. Wheelwright Wheel-wright discovered books containing con-taining written accounts of the old Cedar City Co-op for the years 1888 and 1899. Entries En-tries included loans, warrants, taxes, loss and gain records, bills receivable, grain accounts, ac-counts, and other types of business bus-iness transactions. The last notation was made by E. J. Palmer on Dec. 31, 1899. Another volume was the Cedar City tax record for the years 1894 to 1901 and contained con-tained listings of real estate, cemetery and water taxes.
