Show High school student leaders to join "Salute to Youth" Student loaders from 12 southern Utah high schools will meet on the College of Southern Utah campus March 29 for a Salute to Youth program pro-gram co-sponsored by the college col-lege and the Business and Professional Women's club. Keynote speaker for the e-vent e-vent will be Anne Kidd, past president of the Utah BPW. She will be accompanied to the meeting by a delegation of state officers of the organization. organ-ization. Luncheon speaker is Dr. Joseph Jo-seph Felix, director of the CSU Institute of Religion. Theme of the conference will bo "My Responsibilities and My Future." A panel of five students will discuss different differ-ent areas of responsibility such as self, family, community, commun-ity, country, and world. Those participating are Elaine Hatch, Panguitch; Helen Stout, Hurricane; Hur-ricane; Jim Shumate, Cedar City; Gaylynn Benson, Beaver, and Betsy Yardley, Milford. Other high schools participating partici-pating in the activity are Kan-ab, Kan-ab, Valley, Eryce Valley, Es-calante, Es-calante, Dixie, Enterprise, and j Parowan. I i |
