Show Iron County Fair seeks exhibits in various arts An invitation to residents of Iron County to enter art work in.tthe Iron County Fair has been extended by Mrs. Frostee Mitchell, chairman of the Fair Art Department. "We know that there are many of you who paint with oils, acrylics, and water colors both amateurs and professionals profes-sionals and we would like you to share your creations with others for their enjoyment" enjoy-ment" she said. There are no entrance fees required to enter. They must be your own work and have never been exhibited before. They may compete for cash prizes as well and a section has been set aside for exhibit only of those which do not qualify for competition. 'Help is also available to get articles to Parowan for the exhibit. Paintings must be to the exhibit halls at Parowan High School on Thursday, Aug. 31. In Cedar City help can be obtained through Mrs. Reed Gower or Mrs. Morgan Slack. In the Escalante Valley Val-ley Mrs. Nellie Moyle will assist as-sist those planning to exhibit. Pictures mist be framed and ready to hang. Also their classification as to subject matter and material is helpful help-ful In proper Indentification, Mrs. Mitchel pointed out. |
