Show Meals offered in the school lunch program As part of its regular school food service, the Iron County School District will again make free meals available to certain eligible children. Parents Par-ents and guardians are invited to review the following income scale furnished by the Secretary Secre-tary of Agriculture and based on national statisitics, which s!hows how much they can earn and their children still Ibe eligible for a free meal. Family size and incomes follows: One, $204.00; Two, S267.001 Three, $331.00; Four, $394.00; Five, $452.00; Six, $511.00" Seven, $564.00; Eight, $616.00; Nine, $664.00; Ten, $712.00; Eleven, $760.00; Twelve, $808.00; Each additional family fam-ily member, $48.00. If a family monthly income is below the amounts listed above, the child qualifies for free meals. If family income is usually higher than the income scale outlined, but unforeseen emergencies emer-gencies have created a temper, ary hardship, the children may still receive help through the free lunch program. Every effort will be made to insure that all children are treated alike, whether their meals be free or paid. Parents who feel that their children are eligible may apply by filling out application ap-plication forms sent to each home or available In the of-flcefice of-flcefice of each participating school. Applications may be made at anytime during the year and approvals are transferable transfer-able between schools in the district After a decision is made as to whether free meal Will be provided, parents will be advised. Parents wishing to appeal the action taken on an application appli-cation may do so by contacting contact-ing Superintendent J.
