Show Former resident dies in Midvale, buried in Nephi Mrs. Alice L. Bigler Lyman, 72, former Parowan resident, died on Aug. 18 of natural causes in a Salt Lake hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. on Tuesday at the LDS Stake Center in Midvale where she has resided recently. Burial was in the Vine Bluff Cemetery Ceme-tery in Nephi, where she was born. . Born Sept. 13, 1899, In Nephi, a daughter of James and Maude Whitbeck Bigler, she spent her early life there. She was married to Frank C, Lyman Ly-man of Parowan Nov. 3, 1917 at Paris, Idaho, and the marriage mar-riage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. They resided in Parowan for many years and later moved to the Los Angeles area and later came back to Utah and resided at Midvale. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in -.various auxiliary organizations. Survivors are her husband of Midvale; two sons, Kenneth Ken-neth B., Midvale, and James B., Maylan, Penn.; 12 grandchildren; grandchil-dren; sisters, Mrs. Venice Turner, Turn-er, burley, Idaho; Mrs. Owen (Phyllis) Thygerson, Salt Lake City. |
