Show ; Fair chairman invites participation . Final preparations are being made for the 1971 Iron County Coun-ty Fair to be held September 3, 4, 5, and 6 in Parowan, it is announced by D. Amasa Stones, general chairman. In connection with the upcoming up-coming event, expecterd to be one of the biggest and liveliest ! in the history of the county, Stones has issued a statement to residents throughout the area. "The Iron County Fair has become a tradition we look forward to during the Labor 1 Day week end with pride and i anticipation. ;i "This special event comes at that time of year when we lay aside our tools for a day or so and. gather in festive celebration to acknowledge the rewards of our labors. The Fair has a very important import-ant purpose in our county. It brings our people together that they may enjoy and appreciate ap-preciate each others' friendship friend-ship and association. "It serves as a measuring stick for their creations and accomplishments. It brings into focus the many iblessings we receive from God and Country. There is no better way to bring communities together to-gether in common appreciation apprecia-tion for the life we ar,c privileged privi-leged to live. The work, the effort, the cooperation co-operation and loyalty that has ibeen exnlbited and given by you fine people over the years that the Fair might be an outstanding out-standing activity, has not gone' unnoticed. Will you please accept my sincere, thanks and appreciation. "It is with sincere pride that I invite you to take an active part in this great event. May you and your family really real-ly make this a 'Family Affair.' It Is my 'hope that you will be enlightened and entertained."
