Jack Dalton returned home from the hospital in Cedar City Friday after being there for treatment 0f an injured hand. Mr. and Mrs, Gordon Manzi-one Manzi-one and family returned to their home in'Tboele Monday taking Mrs. Marsha Robinson arid her three children with them. -Lt. Lamar Anderson left Wednesday after vsiting his family for several weeks. He is to have two weeks special training at Lackland Air Force Base before going to Viet Nam. Miss Susan Barton is in Mesquite for a few weeks to visit with her grand parents. The Promary Lihona girls held their annual holiday par-ty par-ty with their mothers July 30 at the Ward Relief Society room and the Cultural Hall. Three Merrihand girls received re-ceived graduate scrolls in the ceremonis. They were Laura Barton, Holly Robinson and Louise Davenport. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served and games were enjoyed. Mrs. Lola Robb and Roene Lund left for Salt Lake City Monday to attend the Conference Confer-ence on Records. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Abbott and some of their children with Mrs. Myrtle Abbott traveled tra-veled to Orem and Salt Lake City Saturday. In Orem they visited"' with the Ralph Benson Ben-son family. Mrs. Vivian Edwards and her son Tom of Salt Lake City were recent visitors at the Melva Barton home. They were accompanied by Mrs. Edwards' sister and her son of Chicago. There will be, a ward party par-ty held Wednesday, August 13, at the Paragonah Ward, beginning at 7:30 p. m to honor hon-or the retiring Bishopric. Lunch will be served and there will be games and a movie. All ward members are urged to attend. Bring your own eating utinsels. Bishop Myron Abbott urges all ward members to attend an important special meeting at the chapel 3:30 p. m. Sunday. |
