Show Women bowlers prepare for state tourney The State Women's Bowling Association annual tournament tourna-ment will be held in Logan, Utah beginning Saturday, March 1, it is announced by Matilda Biederman, Cedar City, Ci-ty, a state vice president. The tournament will be held at tho Logan Lanes at 1161 North Main in Logan and expected ex-pected to participate are 243 teams, 494 doubles competitors competi-tors and 988 singles entries. Mrs. Biederman will leave today, to-day, for Logan where she will join the other state officers to set up the tournament events. The tournament is under un-der the direction of C. J. Shon-ka, Shon-ka, state secretary. Five teams from Cedar City will participate in the activities. activi-ties. The Coleman team, winner of the Cedar City tournament, will bowl on the- opening night of the tournament at 8 p. m. Slated to bowl on March 8 and 9 are Norge Village and Cummings Electric and on the 29 and 3()lh Cedar Crest and Hunter Hardware will bowl. All members of the five teams will participate in teams, doubles and singles events. A work shop will be held in connection with the, tournament tour-nament on March 8th and the business session will be held on March 2 at 9 a. m. and all official delegates are advised to bo in attendance for this important meeting.
