Show Patriotic theme is feature of Literary Club meet The Parowan Literary Club met at the home of Mrs. Chas. F. Bentley on Wednesday eve-i eve-i ning, Feb. 10 it is reported ' by Mrs. Arch Benson. The meeting was arranged in the form of a patriotic party par-ty and a luncheon was served serv-ed first to the' members. The luncheon was followed by playing table games with Mrs. Mabel Wilcock being awarded high score prize. Low score prize went to Mrs. Alma Al-ma Hyatt who was a guest for the evening. Hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Karl Mitchell, Mrs. Rulon Dalton with Mrs. Bent-l-y. I Since March 5 is the next scheduled meeting night, and this is the night for the pres-1 c.-ntation of the high school operetta, club members voted to postpone that program in order that members and their partners' could support the high school event. Therefore the next' meeting of the club will b, held March 19. |
