Show Plans for '69 Cancer Crusade readied for east Iron County With the annual Concer Crusade Cru-sade slightly over a month away, state and local concer society officers are making plans for the drive for funds with which to carry out the fight against this dreaded disease, dis-ease, states Mrs. Glen Halterman, Hal-terman, cancer chairman for the east end of Iron County. Mrs. Halterman states that east Iron has been assigned a quota of $400 to raise during dur-ing the month of April, this in the three communities ofj Summut, Parowan and Para- I gonah. She states that last year's drive was successful and urges all families to pre- pare to contribute generously to this worthy cause. Mrs. Halterman states that s;he is preparing to conduct the drive on a LDS ward basis, ba-sis, with ward chairmen to be named in each. They, in turn will choose their canvassers canvas-sers and select the date for a big push in the area, with the purpose to get it over with in record time. I " |
