"Art Supermarket" program outlined at CHS This year the art students at Cedar City High School have been working in many phases of art. The outlined program is called "Art Supermarket." Each student selects the areas ar-eas of art he wants to study and follows a program outlined out-lined by his teacher. Each area or section of work takes approximately nine weeks to complete so during the school year each student is expected expect-ed to complete two section of work for each .5 credit. If he wants to work during free time and earn 1.5 or 2 credits per year he is free to do so. Students have been working in many areas and in order to increase their appreciation of difference phases of the world of art. euest artists are being invited to talk and demonstrate their skills. The first guest artist this year was Betty Carlton. On Feb. 12 she presented a slide lecture to students of Cedar City High School and then demonstrated the techniques of applying transparent oil paint to pho-tographs. pho-tographs.
