Show Home Ec, and History Majors are Teacher Trainees in Parowan High School Classes ' . i ill . . ... ,,.";.;. - 1 a'.-s-U :i", i ' ' ':'"; MISS DELORES LINDE The students and teachers at Parowan High School are enjoying having two more teacher trainees from College of Southern Utah, working at 'the school at the present tinx Miss Dolores Llnde of Blaine, " Wash., is doing her training 1 as a home economies major with Mrs. Alta Da it on in that department at Parowan High. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Linde, and has attended P.righam Young University. She was a graduate gradu-ate of Ricks College at K-x-burg, Idaho in 1917 with an associate degree. She adds that she was raised on a dairy dai-ry farm. Craig L. Hirschi a native of Roekville, Utah, is now taking his teacher training here with Lowell Caldwell. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. lleber Hirschi, and has attended Dixie College, Col-lege, University of Utah and is nov at College of Southern Utah where his major is history his-tory and minor psychology. He is married to Linda Lun-din, Lun-din, and is a member of the LDS Church. He states that his mother was postmaster at Roekville for 44 years and that his father served for 22 years on the Washington County School Board and served as president of the Utah State School Board. Mr. Hirschi has filled a tour of duty in the U. S. Army and spent 16 months in Germany. |
