Show 'observation plot which the chapter is working on now. Then Keith Adams gave the speech which he has prepared to present in the area speech contest which is to be held in Fillmore next week. As a climax to the evening's even-ing's activities a very interesting inter-esting talk on agriculture was given by Osmer K. Nielsen, cashier of the Bank of Iron County, who has assisted and supported the chapter very much as a businessman. The banquet was a great success and a rewarding experience ex-perience for all. ALAN ADAMS Parowan High F F A chapter holds Parent-Son banquet Saturday evening, Feb. 22 the annual Parent and Son banquet of the Parowan chapter chap-ter of Future Farmers of America Am-erica was held in the lunch room of the elementary school. To start the evening Mr. Elmer El-mer Cox of Cedar City and Mr. Herman S. Adams, wore awarded the honorary chapter chap-ter farmer degree which is presented each year to those men who help the organiza tion and take a great interest inter-est in it. Mr. Cox is a former FFA leader at Cedar High School and has been active in furthering the Southwest Livestock Show for many years. Right after the above presentations pre-sentations Mr. Thales Brown, chapter advisor, presented the ' officers with their pins signifying sig-nifying their office. Then the dinner started and chicken and the works were served. Following the meal a short program was presented. Alan Adams gave a short report of the year's activities.
