Show KANARRAVILLE NEWS Mrs. Carma Williams Our Bishop, Marvin J. Chris-tenson Chris-tenson was rushed to the Valley Val-ley View Medical Center early Monday suifering from a heart attack. Mrs. Alva Batty and son Travis went to Salt Lake City to see her new grandson, born July 20 to her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Danny Dan-ny Stokes. Visiting Saturday with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Reeves and family, St. George, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Devon Reeves and family, Cedar Ce-dar City and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Ev-an Reeves and daughter, Ja-lynn, Ja-lynn, Las Vegas, Kev. Jalynn is sepnding the week with her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Colleen, Pamela, and Stewart spent last woek touring tour-ing Southern Nevada and California Cal-ifornia and returned home via Reno, Nevada, Mrs. Fonda Beckstead and Mrs. Verlyn Williams are spending this week in Mes-quite, Mes-quite, Nevada where their hus. bands have employment. Neil Bauer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bauer, returned home Monday after visiting in California. Colleen Williams and daughter Dana Lyn and Geana Deborah Williams, Alenna and Scott Berry and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davies attended a wedding wed-ding reception in Hurricane Saturday night for Mr. and Mrs. Steven Olds. Mr. and Mrs. B. N. Williams spent several days in Flowell Utah visiting with Mrs. Williams' Willi-ams' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albeit Al-beit Swallow. Spendng the afternoon with Alenna Berry and children were George Wood of Las Vegas. Ve-gas. Nevada, Fawn Marshall of Salt Lake City and Javanna Willis, Cedar City. I Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Wil- liams and family of Salt Lake' T'ty spent a few days visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams, Karen, Kevin and Trent Wilkenson, who spent two months here with their grandparents, returned home with the Williams. Kevin and Jill Zohner, child, ren of Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin Zohner of Las Vegas, returned home Sunday after spending a month here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Leeder. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson and family of Oxnard, Calif, visited Friday afternoon with Michael Williams. John and Michael were in the Air Force together. Mrs. Norma Houser and three sons spent Sunday in Parowan visiting her late uncle un-cle Eldon Reeves family. Junior Call of Las Angeies, California visited Monday with Aunt Fhebe Davies family. I Mr. and Mrs. Dale Cornelius spent last week in Lander, Wyoming visiting their par-' par-' cnts, Mr. and Mrs. James Cor-nelus Cor-nelus and Tony. Tony returned home with Dale. I Mrs. Zena Prisbrey spent 1 several days days here with 1 her daughter and son-in-law, Lillie and Willard Williams Saturday. They took her back to her home in Washington, i Utah. j Mr. and Mrs. Art Thurston of Cedar City visited Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Delile Davis and son Val. Val traveled to Las Vegas with the Thurstons for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Ramsey and children, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Beckstead and son David, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Williams traveled to Salt Lake City on the 24th to take their Morgan Horses to the Rocky Mountain Morgan Horse Show. The Beck-steads Beck-steads took a 2nd place in cutting and Maggie Ramsey a 4th in hand Halter. Miss Carol Ann Williams of Cedar City is here spending a few days wth her grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mis. Noel Williams. |
