J. Christiansen Christian-sen anil family are spending two weeks in South Dakota visiting with Mrs. Christian-sen's Christian-sen's parents and frlvnds and relatives. They stopped on Og- den on their way where they Mrs. Jack Pace and children Lee and Calhy were in Las Vegas for two days last week end. This is the Cooper's 'first child nnd the Speir's first grandchild. Mrs. Cora Murie received visits from several of her family fam-ily members recently, Mr. nnd Mrs. David Anderson nnd family fa-mily of Mosquito, Nov., were hero one night recently, nnd nlso Mr. nnd Mrs. Don Kirk-Patrick Kirk-Patrick and family of Los Angeles. An-geles. Mrs. Murio also received receiv-ed word of the birth of another great-grandchild. The baby girl is the daughter of Dick nnd Marie Talbot, who now reside at Magna. Myron Jones received word on Monday of this week of the death of his brother Reuben Reu-ben W. Jones of Mil ford. Funeral Fu-neral services will be hold today, to-day, Thursday, at 1 p. m. in Milford. Mrs. Eloa Battraw and baby them part of last week. Mrs. Garfield's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Pearson of Bountiful were here and also a cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Baker and family of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Murie and family spent the July 21 holiday in Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Don Price and family were here over the week end to visit with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. nnd Mrs. Steven G rimshaw and boys. Their son Boyd has been visiting hero and returned return-ed to Pleasant Grove with them. Mrs. Mary Ann Terry nnd baby are hero for a few days with Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Grim-shaw. Grim-shaw. Dennis Chapman came to Enoch from Provo, where he is attending school this summer, sum-mer, to take care of his home and some business. He and Nancy and Caroline will bo home the end . of next month for the next school year. The Enoch Ward Scouts, of Troop 336 attended the Court of Honor hold in Summit Sun-dav Sun-dav evening. Eight members of the troop received their Life Scout badges. Also one received receiv-ed his Star badge, and two Second Class. This makes 100 per cent advancement in the last three months. Part of the Scouts of Troop 336 and Franklin Jones, scoutmaster, scout-master, are at Camp Maple Dell in central Utah this week. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grim-shaw Grim-shaw spent last week end in Salt Lake City on business and visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Grimshaw and baby. The annual party was under the direction of Mrs. Betty Heaton, Mrs. Veda Matheson, Ma-theson, Mrs. Virginia Steirs, and Mrs. Shirleno Lowry. Only On-ly one girl, Barbara Jean Matheson graduated from the group this year. Vern Grimshaw was here from his home in Elko, Nov. to spent July 24 week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw. Barnard W. Matheson is visiting vi-siting with his brothers, Ivan M. and LaMar Matheson and their families while he is working in this area. Barney and his family live in Salt Lake City. |
