Show Karl Lagerburgs return to Cedar City for visit Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lager-burg, Lager-burg, former Cedar City residents, res-idents, who have spent the past several years in (Germany, where Mr. Lagerburg has been In charge of chapel construction construc-tion throughout Europe for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, arrived here Saturday on a vacation trip. While In Cedar City they are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. DeMoin Jones, who spent two years in Germany, where Mr. Joiv-'s was in charge of 'plumbing 'plumb-ing and heating installation in the chapels under Mf. Lag-eiburg's Lag-eiburg's supervision. ' The Lagerburgs left Tuesday Tues-day for Los Angeles to visit with a daughter. They will be in this country for four weeks before returning to their responsibilities re-sponsibilities In Europe. Mr. Lagerhurg stated that some day they hoped to make Cedar City their hom-e, "but", he said, "they need many more church buildings in Europe Eur-ope and he plans to return to that work for sometime." He pointed out that the church membership is rapidly increasing in-creasing in the European countries, and since church members do not emigrate to this country as they once did, there is more and more need for chapels in the church branches In Europe. "These people are anxious to have attractive chapels in which to worship, and they are contributing contri-buting generously of their time and means to provide them," he said. |
