Show Fred Schwendiman appointed planning director Fred C. Schwendiman, Cedar Ce-dar City, was recently appointed ap-pointed Regional Law Enforcement Enforce-ment Planning Director during dur-ing the July meeting of the Region 6 Law Enforcement advisory council. Region 6 Is one of nine Law Enforcement plannig regions in the state and is comprised of Beaver, Iron, Washington, Garfield and Kane counties. Each region has an advisory council whose responsibility is to plan and gather information informa-tion relatve to the development develop-ment of a state wide comprehensive compre-hensive plan for the Improvement Improve-ment and upgrading of Utahs criminal justice system. Members of Region 6 Law Enforcement Advisory council are: James Yardley, Chairman and George Middleton, Garfield Gar-field County; H. Bernell Lewis, Dale Brinkerhoff, Kane County; Coun-ty; Robert Gardner, Judge Sterling Bossard, Iron County; Evan Whitehead, Jack Lem-mon, Lem-mon, Washington County; George Rich, and Ira M. Fisher, Beaver County. Mr. Schwendiman will assume as-sume the responsibilities of planning Director for region 6. He s a graduate of the College of Southern Utah's two year Police Science technology program. pro-gram. In addition he is a graduate of the Utah Valley Hospital School of Radiological Radiologi-cal Technology and the Camp Williams Police Academy. He worked for three years as a patrolman and detective for Orem City Police department and served for one year as chief x-ray technician at the Valley View Medical Center."1" |
