Show Civil engineering scholarship goes to S USC student Scott IWunson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Munson, Trop. icy has received a $500 scholarship schol-arship from the Civil Engineering Engin-eering Department at Utali State Unversity, it was announced an-nounced by Dr. Hail Judd, assistant as-sistant dean in the Southern Utah State College School of Sciences. Mr. Munson has completed his junior year at SUSC and is currently employed by the State Highway Department as an engineer in training. He plans to attend USU for two years to complete requirements require-ments for a degree in civil engineering. He and his wife, the former Maxine Dalley of Summit, will move to Logan in the fall. Tlie award Is made on the basis of scholastic ability and recommendation by faculty personnel. Dr. Judd said that Dr. Elliot Rich, head of the USU Civil Engineering Depart, ment was high in his praise of SUSC students who have attended at-tended USU. |
