Show PARAGONAH NEWS members were here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Mitchell, Mrs. Susan Adams and daughter daugh-ter Amy Jane w-ere also Sunday Sun-day visitors to the Stones home, Mrs. Sarah Stones, daughter Helen and grandson Shane arrived ar-rived here from Santa Cruz, Calif Wednesday after a visit Raymond and Linda Lowe. Durng tlM'ir stay the Stones were taken on trips to San Francisco, Monterey and Car-mel. Car-mel. Mrs. Alda Robinson traveled to Ci'dar City Wednesday to Visit with the David Skou-guard Skou-guard family until Friday. Hilinan Slevens arrived here Monday to visit a few days with his sister, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Harris and son Kelly of Salt Lake City Ci-ty arrived twre Thursday to visit with Nona's parents. Fred Olsen has been to California Cal-ifornia to spend sometime with his family and bring some of them back to Paragonah for a time. Mr. and Mrs. William T. Davenport returned horn Wednesday from a trip to Can-ada. Can-ada. They also visited on their nelum with the Victor Robin- Mrs, Hllma Lamoreaux The 24th of July was observed ob-served In Paragonah with a mlnature parade beginning the days activities. Covered wagons, Indians, a hand cart, colorful costumes, and pioneer pio-neer relics made the parade impressive. A public meeting was held under the direction of the local lo-cal DUP Camp which featured fea-tured Mrs. Lola liobb as D.U.P. Queen, and a pioneer program by the Primary children. Following the meeting there were children itioes, a fish pond, and lunch was sold by the D.U.P. The annual Trail Builders Round up was held Saturday evening on the Park under the direction of Trail Builder teachers, Mrs. Lenna Mae Judd and Mrs. Mary Abbott and Mrs. Noiine Dunton of the Primary Pri-mary Presidency. The boys and their parents enjoyed a barbcepje dinner followed by other activities. Mr. and Mrs. Justin Fairbanks Fair-banks and four children of Salt Lake City arrived here Wednesday for a visit with the Orson Talbot family. Mr. and Mrs. Fairbanks went on to Thatcher, Ariz., in search of housing as Justin will be teaching there this winter. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lamor-eaux Lamor-eaux and four boys of El Cen-tro, Cen-tro, California, were Saturday visitors in Paragonah with Mr. and Mrs. D. Amasa Stones and Mrs. Gwen Jones. Antone and Danny Stones of Parowan were visitors visit-ors here Saturday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Amasa Stones. Other family j I son family In Ogden and the Kay Hansen family in Salt Lake City. Their grandson, Gene Hansen brought them home. j Mr. and Mrs. Don Barton enjoyed a visit from Don's neice Opal and her husband Larry Gates of Kearny, Neb. recently. Relatives here were shocked with the untimely death of Frank Richards of Panguitch Thursday. He suffered a fatal heart attack. Mrs. Gwen Jones, Marion Englestead and Mrs. Edith Barton were in Panguitch Pan-guitch that same clay. Among those who attended the Richards funeral in Panguitch Pan-guitch Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Barton, Mis. Owen Jones, Mr. Marion Englestead, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Robinson Robin-son and William T. Davenport. Daven-port. Mrs. Gwen Jones had a num. ber of visitors during the week end. Mrs. Aclele Lundy and children came from Las Vegas, Mrs. LaPriel Linford and children from Henderson and Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Engle- Orem the first of last week. The youngsters visited here until Monday. Chester and Irene had other visitors during dur-ing the week. Mrs. Leora Ash-ton, Ash-ton, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rhod-abaugh Rhod-abaugh and three children of Orem and Miss Sherry Ashton of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Lamoreaux of Henedrson, Nev., Thelma's brother Albert, and his wife, a sister Agnes and their father Ivy Stratton of St. George have also visited the Robinsons. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Lamoreaux Lamor-eaux and two children of Las Vegas, were here Saturday and Sunday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux. Mrs. Gaytha Benson and daughter Julie of Beaver were also Sunday Sun-day visitors at the Lamoreaux home. Mrs. Ann Edwards of Portland, Port-land, Ore. spent a few days here with her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards. Miss Connie Dunton was home from Logan from Wednesday Wed-nesday to Sunday to visit with her folks, the Frank Dunton family. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Topham arrived here to spend the holiday hol-iday with the Kenneth Topham Top-ham family and take their children home again to Salt stead and children from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williamson Wil-liamson and sons Paul and Joe traveled to Bountiful Friday, to spend the week end with relatives. They also visited in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Wiiliamson. I Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Robinson Robin-son and family of Richfield and Mrs. Ruby Bauer and children of Cedar City were here Friday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson. Hugh Robinson came from Cedar Ce-dar City Saturday to spend some time with them. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Christiansen Christian-sen and their children left for their home in Tascon, Ariz. Monday after two weeks here with Patty's parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaGrande Robb. Lola's sister Mario and her husband, Jack White and their friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Skinner of Beaver were also Sunday Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Kay Topham traveled to Panguitch Friday to visit Pauline's father, Joseph Miller. Miss - Dawn Culbertson of Los Angeles, arrived here Saturday Sat-urday to spend a few days with Lamarr Anderson and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James II. Anderson. Miss Culbertson Cul-bertson returned to California Wednesday and Lamarr left for Texas for a few weeks training before going to Viet Nam. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Board-man Board-man traveled to Kanarraville Sunday to visit with mem- guests at the Robb home. Mrs. Lola Robb, Pamela Barton and Lorri Poulson went to Fiw Mile Monday to attend at-tend Stake Y.W.M.I.A. Girls Camp. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Burton and family of Layton arrived here on Thursday to visit in this area. They visited with Laura's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux and went to the lake for a family reunion with Donald's people. They returned to Layton on Sun-I Sun-I day. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson Rob-inson brought their grandchildren grand-children John Russell and Ter-esa Ter-esa homo with them from bcrs of Leah Jean's family. Jack Dalton was rushod to I the Valley View Medical Center Cent-er Sunday after he got his riht hand caught in a hay baler and was badly injured. Mrs. Ralph Benson and members of her family visited briefly at the Myron Abbott home' on Friday and took Russell Rus-sell Abbott to Orem with them for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Robb and Mrs. Melva Barton traveled to Milford Saturday to attend the wedding reception for their neice, Miss Phyllis Barton. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barton. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Man-.ione Man-.ione and children of Tooele arrived here Saturday night to spend a week with Janine's parents Mr. and Mrs. II. Revere Re-vere Robinson. Monday Mr. Alex Robb of Idaho Falls, Idaho and his son Wayne of Walla Walla, Wash-ington Wash-ington arrived hero to visit with his sisters, Mrs. Alice Robinson of Paragonah and Mrs. Pearl McConrvell of Cedar City and other relatives.
