Show St. George educator announces bid for State School Board member and was a state director direc-tor of Libraries in Utah at one time. He has been a member mem-ber in most major educational organizations and held positions posi-tions of leadership in many of them. Dr. Ruaben D. Law, St. George, has filed as a candidate candi-date for election to the two year term on the State Board of Education from District 7. Under the reapportionment enacted by the state legislature legisla-ture District 7 comprises Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Juab, Kane, Millard, Piute, Tooele, Washington, and Wayne Coun-ty Coun-ty School districts as well as Tintic, North and South Sanpete, San-pete, Provo City and Alpine School Districts. The Reapportionment regulation regu-lation indicates that no members mem-bers will be elected at large from any one county in the election district. Dr. Law Is a former resident resi-dent of Provo. Retired he has previously served as Professor of Education and Dean of the College of Education at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University; He served as President of the Church College of Hawaii at Laie, Oahu, Hawaii; was superintendent of Schools in two Utah school districts, Rich and Duchesne, and Assistant Superintenent for Education in Costa Mesa, Calif.
