Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Mrs. Veda Matheson Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Jones visited with LaVon's father, Myron Jones, for a few days last week, and with other members of LaVon's and Ruth's families. They came on Tuesday with a group of families fam-ilies from their home in Denver Den-ver and visited some of the Utah LDS Temples, arriving here Tuesday. Mitchell Robinson is home on leave from his duty with the Army in Vietnam. Mitch was called home because of the severe illness of his and Vyonne's baby, Tony. The child is improving. Mr. Ward C. Boyd of Washington Wash-ington arrived here this past week end to spend some time with the F. H. Grimshaws and to take Rosalee and baby back home. On Friday of last week they accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matheson to Salt Lake where they visited with more family members and friends. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Christiansen Christ-iansen and part of their family fam-ily went to Salt Lake and Og-den Og-den last Friday. Ray returned home on Sunday leaving Marge and Teena there where Teena will have surgery on her nose. Among the people from this area who went to Salt Lake for Conference last week were Mr .and Mrs. Norman Grimshaw, Mr. and Mrs- Stanford Stan-ford Jones, Mrs. Veda Mathe-in, Mathe-in, Patricia Murie and Mike Jones. Patricia is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Murie and Mike is the son of Mr. and Mrs. DeVon Jones. The two young people were two of four from the Parowan Stake who were invited to participate in the 4,000 voice Choral festival. Mr- and Mrs. Steven Grimshaw Grim-shaw received a visit from Loraine Armstrong of Canada. Miss Armstrong wis living in England at the time Steve was there on an LDS mission. She was in Utah to attend June Conference and came to visit with the Grimshaws. Theron and Romaine Foster and their family have moved into town where they are building a new home. They have sold their home to Mr. and Mrs. Orien Prince of Las Vegas. The Princes are spending spend-ing part of their time here for the present. Visiting here with the Princes this past week end have been Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Prince of Panaca and Mr. and Mrs- Eldon Perkins Per-kins of Salt Lake City. Frank Munoz and Nadine Crockett were married last week end in the St. George temple. Frank's family, Mr. and Mrs. David Munoz, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Rost, Carl and Pauline Rost, all came from Salt Lake to attend the reception which was held in Cedar City. |
