Show Wranglers outline program for July 4 Race Meet The Parowan Rod Hill Wranglers are again sponsoring sponsor-ing a race moot and rodeo as a part of Parowan City's July 4 celebration, according to Mrs. Norman Evans, who is handling the publicity for the event. Mrs. Evans states that this year they are offering I two shows for the price of one, and extends an invitation to the public to attend Sire states that there will be six races run during the afternoon with the first rac-e to start at 2:30 p. m. at the Parowan City race track and rodeo arena.. They are posting $700 in purses with blankets added to winners of two of the feature races. Entries for the July 4 racing card will be made Friday night at 8 at the Iron County Courthouse. In addition there will be a complete amateur rodoo to bo hold between races. The rodoo ro-doo stock is being 'furnished by Kay Bundy of St. George. 3odeo entries will be made at 2 p. m. at the race track just prior to the program. In addition, the wranglers announce that there will be food and other refreshment concessions in operation at track throughout the after.-noon. after.-noon. Thvy also stress that there is ample grandstand treating available for all spectators. |
