Show June Court of Honor draws sparse attendance A sparsely attended Court of Honor for the Boy Scouts of the Brian Head District was held Sunday evening in the high school auditorium Only two of the six troops in the district, made up of Parowan Stake, wev represented, and scouts from those troops received re-ceived the only awards given out during the evening. Chester Benson , advancement advance-ment chairman for the district dis-trict presided at the court which was hosted by Troop 311 of the First Ward. Craig Pendleton was in charge 1 posting the colors and Steve Holyoak led in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Bishop Dee Wilcken offered the invocation. invoca-tion. Advancements were all to Second Class Scout rank, and were attained by Scott Wilcken Wilck-en of Troop 335, Enoch, and Steve Holyoak and Jon Robinson, Rob-inson, Troop 311, Parowan Sec ond Ward. It was announced that the next Court of Honor will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, with Summit Ward Troop No. 314 to host the event. The closing prayer was offered by Whitney Whit-ney Orton of the Third Ward bishopric. |
