Hans Quinn Chamberlain claimed Miss Mary Louise Lampman in a double-ring ceremony performed by President Presi-dent Arthur J. Barlocker in the j Si. Gorge LDS Temple on July i 8th. The popular Cedar City I couple were honored at a luncheon at the Sugar Loaf Cafe in St. George following the ceremony, by the parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Chamberlain, and that evening were honored at( a reception hosted by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Lampman at the College Col-lege of Southern Utah Family Living Center. I I For the nuptial occasion the mothers of the bride and bridegroom selected dresses of blue crepe and wore corsages of white gamellias accented with green. The newlyweds honeymooned honeymoon-ed in southern California and for her going away outfit the new Mrs. Chamberlain selected select-ed a blue A line dress with double-stitch trim and dark blue accessories. The Chamberlains will make their home in Salt Lake City where Mrs. Chamberlain will teach in the Granite School District and Mr. Chamberlain will continue his studies at the University of Utah College of Law. Prenuptial activities held in honor of the bride included a bridal shower given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Linford by Mrs. Joe Petty. A buffet dinner was given July 7 for close friends of the couple by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Nelson. I ! The bride was radiant in a floor length, empire waist dress of silk organza over de-lustered de-lustered satin. Her elbow-length elbow-length bell sleeves and full-length full-length chapel train had insets of French lace and the rounded round-ed neck was set off by baby pearls of lace. Her veil fell to shoulder length and she carried car-ried a bridal bouquet of white glamelias. Mrs. Richard Nielson attended attend-ed the bride as matron of honor. hon-or. Other attendants were Mrs. Kay Knell, Mrs. Jerry Wood, Mrs. Joe Petty, Mrs. Jerry Frame, Miss Bonnie Gilbreth and Miss Sandy Nelson. Flower Flow-er girl was petite Miss Susan Nielson. Attendants were in like floor-length, empire waist dresses of powder blue pin dot whipped cream. The rounded neck and bell sleeves were trimmed with white daisies wtih blue centers and their bouquets were of daisies accented ac-cented with green ribbons. Sam Chamberlain stood as best man for his brother and Robert Smith, Bill Vorkink, Neil Roberts, Steve Wood, Lewis Lew-is Chamberlain, Don Gilbreth and Antone Pryor served as ushers. The police of Pasadena, Calif., picked up a little blonde they found wandering down the street. The two-and-a-half year old stroller strol-ler charmed the officers, but she either could not or would i"t tell tem her name or where she lived. Finally, the baffled officers began going through her pockets in hope of finding some clue to her identity. The little girl made no protest but remarked innocently: "I don't have a gun." |
