Show Young Parowan Boy Is Leukemia Victim :;,:v: i.,; ' -'n-;'t Ronald Craig Robinson, 14. year-old Parowan youth succumbed suc-cumbed on July 26 at the Pri. mary Children's hospital in Salt Lake City, following 8 seven-month illness with leukemia. leu-kemia. The services were conducted by Bishop Rupert S. Hulet and Mrs. Itha Morten-sen Morten-sen was at the organ for prelude pre-lude and postlude music. 1 Speakers were Principal Bruce Decker and Howard Joseph Jo-seph with remarks by Bishop Hulet.. The invocation was offered of-fered by Roy Benson, the benediction bene-diction was by Vern Mortensen and the grave In the Parowan RONALD CRAIO ROBINSON City cemetery was- dedicated by Pres. Howard D. Knight. The family prayer was offered by Orien Lamoreaux. Musical numbers were: a vocal solo "I Come to Thee", by Leland Lamoreaux; a piano pia-no solo "Goin Home" by Ruth Ann Knight, and the song "Now the Day Is Over," by a quartet consisting of Robert Rowley, Robert Potter, Bruce Decker and Karl Mitchell. Accompanists Ac-companists were Wilma Lamoreaux Lam-oreaux and Itha Mortensen. Pallbearers were Robert Rowley, Carlyle Johnson, Dale Robinson, Ralph Edwards, Charles Boardman and Dyle Adams. Flowers were carried by cousins. Ronald Craig Robinson was born in Cedar City April 29 1953, to Ronald L. and Eleen Johnson Robinson. He was a member of the LDS Church, was a Teacher in the Aaron-ic Aaron-ic priesthood, and a Life Scout with only one step needed for his Eagle award. He would have been in the ninth grade this fall at Parowan High School. Like his father, he was an active horseman and teamed up with boy friends in winning win-ning the 1966 Pony Express Race at the Iron County Fair. Survivors are his parents; brothers and sister: Miles, Wayne, Brad, Clay, Elaine, all of Parowan; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson, of Paragonah and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Johnson, Parowan; also great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Robinson, Paragonah Paragon-ah and Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamoreaux of Orem. |
