Show Utah Archers to Open Big Game Season Saturday. Sport Increases mit for rifle hunting. Archers may fill both their archery tag and their regular tag, but both must be taken with a bow and arrow. There are no clothing regulations reg-ulations for bow hunters during dur-ing the bow season and hunters hun-ters must be sure and carry their bow and arrow permit with them at all times while archery hunting. Deer must be tagged at the place of kill and before the deer is transported trans-ported the same as with the rifle season. In 1966 there were 12,439 archery permits sold, and 2,-495 2,-495 deer harvested for a hunter hun-ter success of 20.5 per cent. Archery permits will remain on sale until the end of the season on Sept. 10. . The second of Utah's big game hunting seasons will open Aug. 26, with over 12,0XJ archers primed for pursuit of the most popular of Utah's big game animals.
