Show Iron County Administrators Open 1967-68 School Year with Institute The 1967-68 school year got underway for administr-tive administr-tive ofneers and teacners in the Iron County Scnool JJistnct Wednesday with the annual Fail Institute helcPat the Cedar High School. Theme of the institute was "Resources to Effectuate Change." Following Wednesday Institute, In-stitute, principals and faculties facul-ties will move today, Thursday, Thurs-day, into the individual schools for orientation in preparation pre-paration for the general opening open-ing of classroom activities Monday, Aug. 28. On Monday approximately 3000 students will begin school in the District with just a slight increase expected over the 1966-67 year, according to Dr. Joe Reidhead, superintendent. superin-tendent. Several changes in teaching personnel has been made during the summer season, but all vacancies have been filled in preparation for general gen-eral opening. Special registrations are planned Monday for the sec ondary schools of the distirct including Cedar Junior High and Parowan and Cedar Higu Schools. Elementary schools tnioughout the district, however, how-ever, are' expected to" begin classroom activities on the opening op-ening day alter a briefing on general classroom conduct and contemplated activties. At Parowan High School re-ducted re-ducted classroom sessions will be held on Monday based on pre-registration last spring, after a get-acquainted assembly as-sembly at 9 a. m.
