Show Trustin Hart Named President Escalante Valley Lions Club Trustin Hart was installed as president of the Escalante Valley Lions Club at recent ceremonies held at Cedar Breaks Lodge. Installation was conducted by past District Governor John M. McGarry of the Escalante Valley. Hart succeeds Horace Phelps as president of the organization. organiza-tion. Others assuming their offices of-fices for the 1968-69 year included: in-cluded: Morris Dannelley, first vice president; Darwin Hulet, second vice president; Reed Hunt, third vice president; presi-dent; Niel L. Nielsen secretary secre-tary and John M. McGarry, treasurer. Members of the board of directors di-rectors are Russell Christen-sen, Christen-sen, D. Gene Butler and Jack Moyle with Grant Twitchell serving as a holdover. Named Lion Tamer for the year was Norman Hulet with LeRoy Gordon to serve as Tail Twister. Twis-ter. A total of 21 members received re-ceived awards for perfect attendance at-tendance during the 1967-68 club year. Three of these, Bryner Wood, John McGarry, and Niels Nielsen, have continuous con-tinuous perfect attendance since the club was chartered in 1956. |
