Show Living In The Escalante Valley Lee Anna Holt were home from Salt Lake City where they are attending business schools. Guests at the Edith Force home over the week end were her daughter Eleanor and hus- J band, Tom Morris, of Salt Lake City; Mr. Morris' mo- ther and father, the Owen Morrises, and a great-grand- 2 daughter of Mrs. Force, Tracy Hill; Eloise White, another I daughter of Mrs, Force, Mil- ford, and two sons, Jeffrey and X Leslie; a sister, Blanche Dot- son, a sister-in-law, Carol Get- ker, and a friend, Ruth Adair, of Panaca, Nev. Mrs. Lora Lee Holt and three children, Junell, Cheryl, and Jason, of Salt Lake visited jj for a week over the 24th hoi- iday with the Jack Moyle and Jay Holt families and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bosch J were Saturday night dinner guests at the Edith Force home. Miss Sandra Hunt of Phoen- J ix, Ariz., was a guest of the McGarrys last week end. Mrs. Maxine Greene and t children, Mrs. Josephine Angel and Mrs. LaVerde Roberts t were guests at the Gordon Moyle home. Mrs. Green, Mrs. i Angel and Mrs. Roberts are all sisters of Mrs. Moyle. They are all living in Salt Lake. t Word has been received by J friends in the valley of the i death of Charles Stewart of $ Sun Valley, California. Mr. $ Stewart is the late husband of Cordia Quinn Stewart, who resided in the valley many j years. 5 TRAIL ROUND-UP Parents and boys from the Escalante Valley attended the Trail Round-up at Enterprise Monday night. The program featured a western theme with the boys giving a demonstration demonstra-tion of their work. Lunch was served. The event welcomed the Top Pilot boys into the Trail' Builders program and graduated the Trail Builders into advanced classes. Belva Gardner of the Valley, who is president of the Second Ward Primary at Enterprise, was in charge of the event. ESCALANTE VALLEY RANCHOS The new Escalante Valley Ranchos Office of the Ray Thomas Enterprises, Inc., is nearly completed just south of the Beryl Junction Cross Road. The new project is progressing south of the Cross Road and in other parts of the valley. POTATO GROWERS Officers, directors, and members of the Utah Growers Grow-ers Association met at their building Monday night for a meeting and election of directors dir-ectors for the coming term. WOMEN'S CLUB The July meeting of the Escalante Es-calante Valley Women's Club was held at the home of Mrs. Edith Force at Modena. Mrs. Force was hostess with Rah-ama Rah-ama Keys as co-hostess. President Pres-ident Marion Woolsey of New Castle conducted the business meeting after which the ladies gathered on the patio for games and supper. Prizes were won by Phyllis Wood, Georgia Moyle, Peggy Burch, Jerry Gersich, and Rahama Keys. HERE AND THERE Mr. and Mrs. James Morris and three daughters recently visited with their folks, the Austin Moyle family. The Morrises are from the San Francisco vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Baul-er, Baul-er, a brother and sister-in-law of' Betty's, visited with the Clayton Bracken family over the 24th of July holiday.
