Show Newlyweds Honored at Reception Saturday Honored at a reception In the First Ward chapel Saturday eve. ning were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Cur. tlce, who exchanged marriage vows in Pioche, Nev., on Mar. 30. The reception was given by the bride s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cal-vin Slack. The bride is the former form-er Miss Correen Slack. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Avery I Curtice of Aurora, Utah, and has been employed In Cedar City for the past two years. The young couple are now making a home In Cedar City In the receiving line at the reception re-ception were the parents of both I bride and groom, bridesmaids Lorel Smith and Norma Stapley, and best man. Fred Slack, brother broth-er of the bride. Assisting with' the reception were Mrs. Verda Slack, hostess: I Mrs. Florence Heyborne, sister of the bride; Misses Susan Kirtley, Karen Robb and Carol Ann Slack. I serving; Miss Mary Helen Bauer and Miss Mavis Slack, in charee of the gift room, and M'ss Mario Beck In charge of the guest book.
