Show CSU Vocational Day Activities Readied for High School Students I High school students throufihout the central and ! southern Utah area have been invited to attend College of Southern Utah's annual Vocational Day activities on April 21. 1rof. C. B. Cooley, chairman of the big event, announced announc-ed that departments at the college are preparing to be hosts to a large number of students intending to compete ' and participate in various de- ; partment activities. ! Contest work will be conducted 'beginning at 9:30 in busings, woodwork, welding, agricultural ; activities, home economics, and others. In the field of business, t.vplnK. shorthand, and bookkeeping bookkeep-ing events, winners will be named nam-ed from among the various high school students. In agriculture livestock Judging will be competitive. com-petitive. Other departments will include similar events. Exhibits Featured Featured will be exhibits sent in by the high schools and should be of interest to everyone, t'rof. Cooley said. One of the highlights high-lights of the home economics department de-partment will be a fashion show and a smorgasbord dinner for all senior class members. Box lunches wiU be given to other students. Awards For the day's activities awards and award certificates will be sent to the schools of winning teams and individuals.
