Concludes Successful Salo One of the most successful projects pro-jects of the High School PTA was held Friday morning, Dec. 5 at the Southern Utah Power Company Com-pany lobby, where a homemade Gift Shop of Christmas Items were sold- Mrs. Verda Misel project chairman, chair-man, and the PTA board members mem-bers worked throughout the week of the sale making gifts and ar-ranging ar-ranging an attractive display ir the power company lobby. All the gifts were made by parents of hih school students and according to Mrs. Misel there was a good variety and each one was moderately price for sale. All items were sold within thr hours. According tc Merna Hansink, president of the organization, all proceeds will be put in the scholarship fund to be awarded at the close of this school year. This will be added to funds received from the card selling project completed earlier in the season. Students will ben-eflt ben-eflt greatly from the largest amount ever donated to the scholarship fund, she stated. Mrs. Misel and the board of the High School PTA would like 'o thank all parents who donat-?d donat-?d their lovely gifts and everyone every-one who supported this sale by buying them, to help the worthy cause for which the proceeds will go. |
