Show I EKOCII and MIDVALLEY L'EVS i J Mrs. Roland Aodtnoa v (Received too late for last week's issue.) Mr. and Mrs. Royden Carter have returned from a visit in Northern Utah. The ward choir held a supper party In the recreation hall last Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones and Miss Barbara Jones have returned return-ed from Northern Utah where they spent four or five days. They brought Mrs. Aurilla Petty, their grandmother, home with them. Mrs. Petty has been In Roy, Utah with her daughter, Emily, for the past months. Bry Anderson, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Murie, from Bountiful, has been here for a week. Mr. Anderson is attending school at CSU. C L. Murie hag been visiting here with relatives. He Is living in Bountiful. Mr. end Mrs. Art Maxwell and Mrs. Iris Matheson from Bountiful Bounti-ful have been visiting here. They brought Mr. Maxwell', mother down to Cedar City to visit with her daughter and family the Neil Petersons. The MIA sponsored the New Year, dance at the recreation hall. After dancing the New Year in, the groups went home for an early breakfast The married people went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murie. The M Men and Gleaners, Laurels and Ensigns En-signs to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Garfield. To the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Anderson Ander-son went the Explorers and MIA Maids. The Scouts and Bee hive girls met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Grimshaw. Owen Matheson Is home after spending some time In Northern Utah and Idaho. In Idaho he visited vis-ited with his son, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Matheson, their family and new baby daughter. A fire at the milk barn of Evan Matheson last Sunday morning could have caused much damage had it not been seen so soon. The wiring caused the damage. The scouts and scouters of the Enoch Ward walked away with many honors at the Court of Honor Hon-or held In Parowan Sunday evening. eve-ning. Receiving Life Scout medals were Wayne Grimshaw, Mich.c! Grimshaw and Frank Jones. David Da-vid King received his first class award while Roe Carter, Ted Wilcken, Jay Grimshaw, Peter Grimshay, Randy Grimshaw, Brent Jones, received second class awards. Receiving merit badges were: Wayne Grimshaw, Frank Jones, Michael and David Grimshaw. |
