Culture of Israel Presented To Wei ilk Avi Ladies The first meeting of the New Year for the Wel-Ak-Avi Club ladles la-dles was enjoyed at the home of Mrs. Kumen L. Jones. As the ladies gathered, they enjoyed reminiscing over the past holiday and especially en-Joyed en-Joyed reviewing the social with their husbands. In charge of the program for the afternoon were Mrs. Charles R. Hunter and Mrs. Lanell Lunt. Mrs. Lunt presented a most interesting in-teresting study on Israel. She reviewed the book, 'This, My God," written by Herman Wouk. The review placed emphasis on the history, culture and tradi-j tion of Israel. I With Information obtained by Mrs. Lunt from the Israeli Embassy, Em-bassy, she presented many interesting in-teresting and authentic facts on the new state of Isrrcl. To further carry out the Israeli Is-raeli theme, Mrs. Hunter displayed display-ed many artistic and beautiful items from that country. Also of interest were recorded festival, folk, and religious music of Israel played by Mrs. Hunter. Hunt-er. It was indeed an outstanding afternoon for all in attendance.
