Show Lions Club Elects New Officer Staff" New officers were elected and a proposed change in the club by laws was approved at an election meeting held Monday morning by the Cedar City Lions I Club. Named as president of the civic organization for the 1965-66 1965-66 year was Dr. A. F. Rich, prominent prom-inent optometrist of Cedar City He was named to succeed John Rowley and will assume his new obligations on July 1. Other officers named included the following: first vice president, Edwin C. Cox. Second vice president, Sterling Bossard. Third vice president, Ralph Hafen. Tail Twister, Ken Benson. Lion Tamer, George LeBaron. Named to serve on the bcird of directors for two years were Frank Cooley and Beldon Lewis. The change In the by-laws ap-, proved In the balloting creates an automatic move In the club ranks from first vice president to president. With approval of the proposal Edwin C. Cox will assume as-sume the presidency of the organization or-ganization on July 1, 1966. An Installation banquet will be held by the Lions Club In late June, Rowley stated. |
