Show Officers Investigate Death of Man at Lund Railroad Station Iron County officers were called call-ed to Lund Tuesday to check into the death of William J. Miller, a Californian who died at the railroad depot in Lund early that day. Sheriff Arthur Nelson, with Dr. Reed W. Farnsworth and R. E. Winterrose, local mortician, checked the case, and Dr. Farnsworth Farns-worth reported that Mr. Miller had died of natural causes, apparently ap-parently from an acute heart attack. at-tack. Joseph Mower, station agent at Lund, stated that the man apparently ap-parently came into Lund on a freight train Sunday evening. He asked for permission to sleep in the depot, which was granted by Mr. Mower, who reported that at about 5:45 a. m. Monday he heard the man fall from one of the benches, and went to investigate. in-vestigate. He reported that Miller Mil-ler was apparently dead by the time he reached his side. The body was brought to CedaT City and prepared for shipment to California. It was returned to the man's sister, Mrs Lloyd Barry, Bar-ry, Riverside, Calif. |
