Show KANARRAVILLE Ward Conference was held I here Sunday with all of the Ce- dar stake presidency in attend-1 ance, Pres. Elwood Corry, Dr. P. j K. Edmunds and Kumen Gardner, Gard-ner, counselors; Stephen L. Brow-er, Brow-er, stake clerk, and Theron Ash-croft. Ash-croft. Ross Williams and Garth Pollock Pol-lock were released as counselors to Bishop Stout. The new counselors coun-selors are Alton Ford and Harris Gubler. Rosalie Graff and friend, Tom Kalfametros flew into Las Vegas ; on a B-25 from their base in Texas. Tex-as. They came here by bus and visited for a short time with Miss Graff's grandparents, Mr, and Mrs. Jess Williams, and her mother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Walker of Cedar City. They were taken back to Las Vegas by Mr. and Mrs. Walker and boarded their plane for the return journey. They are stationed sta-tioned at James Connelly Air Force Bare at Waco, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Al Anderton were called to Rawlins. Wyo., because of the serious illness of their brother, James Robert Aiiuti,un, 36, who was badly hurt in a train wreck. Mrs. Elda Fife and children and Mrs. Dorothy Stucki and children chil-dren of Cedar City spent Sunday here with relatives. Mrs. Wealth Reeves of Cedar City visited here Tuesday with her sister-in-law, Jennie Williams. Wil-liams. Mr. and Mrs. Perry 0. Williams and daughter of Logan, and Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams of Washington, Utah, spent Sunday here with relatives. Some of our townspeople attended at-tended the funeral of Alice Judd at Cedar City last week. The M I A stake officers, Mrs. Evelyn Webster, Mrs. Grace Snow and Miss Bee Roberts, attended at-tended the Mother's and Daughter's Daugh-ter's meeting held here Sunday noon. |
