Ten Trackmen Plan Entrance in Region Cinder Meet The following men from the Parowan high school will journey jour-ney to Fillmore Friday to take part in the Region Six track, field and tennis meet, it is announced by "Twist" Jones, coach. Mr. Jones states that most of these men have been playing base ball also and with the bad weather wea-ther we have had this spring! little conditioning has been possible, pos-sible, but the men will enter the following events at Fillmore on Friday: Rodney Bentley, 100, yard dash, 220 ard dash, shot put; Milton Mortensen, 220, broad jump; Alan Morris, 220, shot put, discus; dis-cus; John Benson, mile run and Javelin; Ted Burton, mile run, S80 yard run; Melvin Mitchell, discus, javelin, pole vault; Gary Rummler, discus; Rex Bess, discus; dis-cus; Marion Rasmussen, high jump; David Orton, broad jump. Mortensen, Morris, Mitchell and Orton will enter the medley relay. re-lay. Charles and Sanford Topham will be entered in the tennis doubles dou-bles matches and Charles will enter the singles matches.
