Show Pleasures of the Hind How long has it been since you visited your library? If you haven't done so recently, you owe it to yourself and your community to pay a visit. Do you know that your library offers you the world's greatest bargain in free education edu-cation and entertainment? Book week Nov. 13 through 19 is a good time to go to the library and meet your old friends, the books you have read, and make new friends. "Any book is a new book until un-til you have read it." - Hundreds of new books, are purchased every year in both the children and adult sections of the library. In fact the new children's books are so attractive and well written writ-ten anyone will enjoy reading them. To quote L. L. Day of "Doubleday and Ccu "The library is the true arsenal of democracy, where are kept the weapons of the mind and spirit without which no war, hot or cold, can finally be won. ; "As a reader you should know your library and use it. As a citizen you should help.it to improve and increase its service to your community. A library card represents the greatest of all free book offers. Do not fail to take advantage advant-age of it."
