Show Mrs. Flora Bowman Eeturns From European Tour Mrs. Flora Bowman returned this week after a two months lour of Europe and reports a wonderful experience and very pleasant trip. She made the trip with the Vlda Fox Clawson Tour, which was conducted by Oskar Rottenburg, an Austrian Jew, who is a travel courier and tour manager man-ager for the Terclval Tours of New York and London. She reported re-ported that Mr. Rottenberg, because be-cause of his efficiency and vast knowledge of the continent, added add-ed much to the pleasantness and interest of the tour. Mrs. Bowman left Cedar City a week before the sailing date and visited in New York and Washington, Wash-ington, then sailed on August C on the Queen Elizabeth and arrived ar-rived at South Hampton, England six days later. During the two months' she visited In England, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, Lux-omberg, Lux-omberg, Monaco, and Canada. The group visited the capltols of " each of these countries and many of the most interesting and beau- tiful places of each. One of the highlights of the tour was her attendance at the dedication of the LDS Temple In Bern, Switzerland. She also visited the grave of a Cedar City Air Force officer, Fen-ton Fen-ton Dalley, who gave his life in the Second World War. The grave Is located at an American Military Mili-tary Cemetery in Florence, Italy, a beautifully kept cemetery where 4500 American servicemen are burled, with each grave marked with a white Italian marble cross. |
