Show AS 1 SEE IT ' You know, we think that we have got a strong nation. I am wondering just how strong we, really are. Take for Instance, I when President Eisenhower had a heart attack, the stock market lost better than $11 billion in one day. Now it seems to me, that if we just have a one man government that we are not so strong after all. The party in power is now worrying wor-rying who is going to take Eisenhower's Eisen-hower's pjace; they are still trying try-ing to claim that they are Republican, Re-publican, but the Republicans of old did not believe in free trade nor did they believe in sending our hard earned tax money over to foreign lands, without having it sent back. But of course, we have got to send bililons over to Europe, In order to bolster our great auto and machinery business, busi-ness, and bring In cheap commodities com-modities to wreck our farm and livestock Industry. Secretary Benson Ben-son said that he would have to do something about the falling prices on hogs; weU he did; they are still going down. If we are going to be a strong nation I think that a surplus of commodities commo-dities should be considered an asset instead of a burden. As I see it, I want to congratulate congrat-ulate Governor Lee for his stand on our tax money going over to foreign lands. You know, the "Boston Tea Party" was fought for this same reason. I think that the old Democrats and old Republicans should form a coalation and get rid of these new deal Democrats and new deal Republicans and fight for Americanism instead of foreign-ism. foreign-ism.
