Show Your Library by Rev. Wm, Burton v We want you to meet your junior librarian, Blanche Lunt Dotson. All the boys and girls and parents who visit the children's chil-dren's division know her as a most helpful and pleasant friend. She was born In Cedar City. She attended the College of Southern Utah, or B A C as everyone knew the college then. Mrs. Dotson has many Interesting Interest-ing things besides books in her department. There is a record player and a special booth in which youngsters can sit as they listen to records. There are many of your favorite stories, such as "Snow White and the Scen Dwarfs," to sec through the viewmaster. On the walls are beautiful pictures of birds and airplanes. In a glass case is an exhibit of Indian arrowheads. Boys and girls, come in and look around. You'll have a wonderful won-derful time. You will find some books that you will want to take home and read. The hours that the junior division of the library is open are from 3 to 6 p. m. every day except Sundays and holidays. Parents will be Interested to know that there is a series of "The Child's World," ready for use. This interesting series includes in-cludes countries of the world, stories, people, plants, and animal ani-mal ways, and the world and its wonders. |
