Show Cedar City Matron Honored on Birthday Friends and neighbors of Mrs. Charlotte Cower Rosenberg called call-ed on her Tuesday to pay her honor on her 88th birthday. She was honored at open house at her home during the afternoon. Mrs. Rosenberg, a life-long resident res-ident of Cedar City, has been active ac-tive in the L D S church, particularly particu-larly in the Relief Society organization. organ-ization. She was born in Cedar City on Nov. 3, 18G5, a daughter of Thomas Tho-mas and Annie Tidwell Gower, early Iron County pioneer. She was married to Joseph A. Rosenberg Rosen-berg on Nov. 22, 1888. Mr. Rosenberg Rosen-berg died on June 6, 1914. Mrs.. Rosenberg is the mother of five sons and two daughters, Harvey, Angus and Horace Rosenberg, Ros-enberg, all of Cedar City; T. Gower Rosenberg, Bell, Calif.; Magnus Rosenberg, San Gabriel. Calif; Mrs. Dale (Hilma) Sly, Beaver, and Mrs. Al (LaVern) Dobrusky, Parowan. She also has 23 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. |
