Civil Service Seeks Accountants For Regional Offices The United States Civil Service Commission announces that the General Accounting Office is still in need of accountants to staff its regional audit offices which are located in many of the largest cities throughout the country. The positions pay $4,205 to $10,800 a year. Men only are desired. Applicants Appli-cants must have had experience of the public accounting type. Study in accounting, teaching accountancy ac-countancy or the possession of a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant may be substituted for part of the experience. No written test is required.
