Show Spokane Businessman Heads Kiwanis International I i - . : I .i ! : -: i - k DON. E. ENGDAHL Officers of the Kiwanis Club of Cedar City were informed early this week that Don E. Engdahl, president of the Spokane Sash and Door Company, had been elected president of Kiwanis International In-ternational at the 39th annual convention held at Miami, Fla. I President Richard Morris of the local organization pointed out that for the first time in the history of the Cedar City club a delegation had not attended the international convention. The distance and time involved was too great for the members this jyear. I Engdahl will succeed Donald (T. Forsythe of Carthage, 111. The organization now comprises more than 3,800 clubs throughout the United States, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and the Yukon Territory. Delegates to the Miami convention, con-vention, which drew an adult attendance at-tendance exceeding 10,000 men and women from all sections, also elected two vice presidents, a treasurer and six trustees. |
