Show Local Power Company To Again Sponsor 4-H Electrical Club Southern Utah Power Company has agreed again this year to conduct a 4-H Electric Club using us-ing personnel and facilities of the company to teach boys 10 years old and up, some of the fundamentals of electricity. First and second year groups will be taught and all boys interested in-terested are advised to meet at the power company Saturday, June 5 to sign up. Election of officers will also be conducted. Last year the 4-H group was highly active and the program is expected to expand this year. The first year group will study the basic tools of electricity and their application, plus standard splices, soldering and simple repairs. re-pairs. Second year Electric 4-H'ers will move into the advanced field of the program including appliance appli-ance and electric motor repairing. repair-ing. Ted Cox has recently attended attend-ed a Utah State Agricultural College Col-lege 4-H Electrical course at Logan. Lo-gan. He and other employees of the company will assist in the program. |
