Show Lions Quartet Appears1 In Salt Lake Choral Music Festival The Cedar City Tradesmen Quartet, better known as the Lions quartet and composed of Reed Roberts, Ilerschel Neeley, Howard Wood and Forrest Hunter, Hunt-er, and directed and accompanied accompan-ied by Reed Berrett, participated in the Choral Music Festival in the Salt Lake Tabernacle Saturday. Satur-day. The festival was co-sponsored by the Utah Federation of Music Clubs and the Deseret News and Telegram, with participation parti-cipation by special invitation. The festival was presented to climax Music Week and the state convention of the Utah Federation Federa-tion of Music Clubs. Elc-vent prominent musical , groups from throughout the state, appeared on the program, each" appearing in two numbers. The1 Cedar City group won distinct recognition in that it was the only group appearing that was forced to appear in an encore number as the result of the response re-sponse of the audience. The Tradesmen, for their two regularly scheduled numbers, selected se-lected Brent's "Let There Be Music," Mu-sic," and "Home on the Range." The quartet will again fill an important engagement this summer sum-mer when the members travel to jNew York to attend and partl-jcipate partl-jcipate in the International Contention Con-tention of Lions Clubs.
