"Big Fish" Contest Sponsored by Wildlife Federation Grant Secgmiller, president of the Cedar City Wildlife Federation, Federa-tion, announced today that the field and stream group would conduct again this year a weekly week-ly "big fish" contest. It was also announced that besides the season sea-son prize a mid-season prize will be given this year. To be eligible for contest prizes, priz-es, he stated that fishermen must be members of the Federation. For the first contest, Including Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13, opening day, membership member-ship can be up to the day before the opening; however, after the opening day, membership must be marked for one week in advance ad-vance of any weigh-in to be eligible. eli-gible. Boundary lines for the contest have been stipulated by the Federation Fed-eration as follows: North, Beaver County line; South, Utah-Arizona line; East, Highway 89. and West, Utah-Nevada line. Fish must be taken from streams or lakes within these boundaries to be eligible for the big fish prize. , Seegmlller added that the lakes and streams of this area haxe been adequately planted In preparation for opening with Navajo Na-vajo Lake the last to be planted, to be completed this week end. Low streams, he Indicated, should be conducive to excellent excel-lent fishing for the opening on June 12.
