Show ENOCH AND MID VALLEY NEWS Mrs. Cora Murie Mr. and Mrs. La Von Jones and family of Denver visited here and in Parowan for a few days. Mr. Jones has gone back to Denver Den-ver and Mrs. Jones and the family fam-ily will stay for a month with her mother, Mrs. Joseph Holy- j oak in Parowan. I Glen Garfield is home after (being away at summer .school. Mrs. Ada Garfield of American Fork, mother of Glen Garfield, and her sister, Mrs. John Koyal of Salt Lake City have been guests at tiie Garfield home for a few days. Dcanne Grimshaw is home after af-ter spending a few weeks in California. Cali-fornia. She is the daughter of George Grimshaw. Miss Florene Richardson has gone to Provo to help her aunt, Mrs. Wilrna G.( Hicken, who has rheumatic fever. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mathe-son Mathe-son of Shelley, Idaho, visited relatives and friends in Enoch and Cedar City for a few days. Out of town visitors for our Fourth of July celebration were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Olpin and family of Las Vegas, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Murie and family fam-ily of Enterprise, Mr. and Mrs. Levar Munson of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Hatch and baby of Kanosh, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jones of Parowan, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Heaton and children of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Naegle and son of Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Simkins of Cedar City. Also visiting for part of the afternoon of July 4 were Ora Pate Stewart and Col. Robert W. Stewart of Kaysville. Mrs. Stewart Stew-art has long been a favorite writer wri-ter and lecturer on Bible and Book of Mormon subjects. Among her hooks are "God Planted a Tree," "Branches Over the Wall," "Treasures Unearthed," and "A Letter to My Son." |
